Conference Background The demand for active medical devices is rising due to an aging population and an increase in the number of patients with chronic diseases, and with enhanced healthcare and people’s pursuit of quality of life, which also promotes the development of active medical devices. The market for active medical devices is huge, and with the continuous development of technology, the medical device market is experiencing changes never seen before. The advancement in biotechnology and information technology has led to the rapid development of smart active devices, and people’s concern for health has promoted the continuous expansion of the wearable device market, with personalized customization gradually coming into the public’s view. All have put forward higher requirements on the active medical device core equipment. The sensor, as the core component of information technology, is the only functional device for data acquisition, and it acquires data to ensure the smooth operation of the entire system of sensing, transmission and processing information. With the rapid development of AI, the IoT and other emerging technologies, market size of sensor is expanding, and in particular, a large number of sensors are used in high-end medical devices. Power supply is the fundamental basis for the operation of active equipment. In addition to updating policies of electrical standards released by the country, the shape of the power supply itself is also changing, at a direction of smaller and more environmentally friendly. Medtec China concurrently launched ADTE (Advanced Active Device Tech EXPO) to bring together domestic and foreign high-end medical device manufacturers, boosting localization of China’s high-end medical devices.
