September 25, 2024 PM | Meeting Room D, Hall 1,  Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, Shanghai, China

Co-organizers:Medtec China

Introduction:

Conference Background

As a rigid demand for medical and health care consumption, the market size of medical dressing products has been steadily increasing: global medical dressing market is maintaining a steady growth in overall scale due to its rigid demand for products. It is expected that the volume of global wound dressings in 2030 will reach $19 billion.

In recent years, China has gradually enriched its medical resources, improved its medical security efforts, and accelerated the construction of basic medical facilities, and the living standard and health consciousness of the Chinese people are also improving, which has brought about the rapid development of medical dressing market. China has become the world’s largest exporter of medical dressings, and the quality of traditional wound care products has comes up to the world standards, but there is still a certain gap between China and the developed countries in terms of product innovation, R&D investment, talent and technology level, equipment level, and the construction of global marketing network.

From the perspective of the entire medical dressing industry, the growth rate of high-end medical dressing market is accelerating. Despite the high cost, the new high-end medical dressings can be used to shorten the wound healing time, reduce the amount of medical dressings, and greatly reduce the care time, thus benefiting patients. In terms of market share, some traditional dressings will make way for more convenient, high-tech dressings with more convenient use method and better performance.

This forum will focus on the R&D process of new dressings, shed light on the product technology and material application of dressings, and promote the communication and cooperation between finished dressing enterprises and upstream supply enterprises.

Participants:

  • Manufacturers of dressings and consumables: heads of the departments of technology, R&D, manufacturing, as well as project/company leaders.
  • Suppliers of dressing raw materials, dressing manufacturing equipment, OEMs, etc.
  • Other dressing-related consulting companies, CROs and research institutes, etc.
