Background:

Plastics plays a very important role in its applications in the medical field, and injection molding products are most widely used. Due to extremely high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, and high requirements for precision, thinning and productivity of the medical injection molding products, there are many challenges in manufacturing units such as injection molding machines, molds and manipulators as well as the matching of these units with each other.

As technology continues to evolve, the requirements for precision and quality of medical devices are getting higher and higher, therefore, the innovation information on precision injection molding technology for medical devices is getting much attention. Medical device parts featuring complex structure, lightweight, high strength can be produced by new processes such as micro-injection molding, multi-material injection molding, high-precision injection molding, intelligent injection molding, and bubble pressing. Meanwhile, the wide application of new polymer materials has also greatly improved the manufacturing precision of medical device.
