I. Basic Exhibition Information and Invitation to Attend

The 20th Medtec China 2026 International Medical Device Design and Manufacturing Technology Exhibition will be held from September 1 to September 3, 2026, at Halls N1–N4 of the Shanghai New International Expo Center (Pudong). As a highly influential professional trade and technical exchange platform covering the entire medical device industry chain, this year’s exhibition will focus on core industry challenges such as domestic substitution of medical devices, cleanroom manufacturing, and digital traceability, bringing together cutting-edge manufacturing technologies and practical solutions from upstream and downstream sectors worldwide.

WALMO has officially confirmed its participation in this event. Booth Number: Hall N3, 3A102. We cordially invite medical device manufacturers, mold manufacturers, cleanroom engineering contractors, R&D engineers, and industry partners to visit our booth for discussions and exchanges. Experience firsthand our core medical-grade all-electric injection molding technology and observe the operational stability of our equipment in real-time, as we explore together the path to mass production of highly compliant, high-precision medical plastic products. Pre-register in advance through official Medtec channels to gain free admission and efficiently connect with technical resources and business partnership opportunities.

II. Industry Background and Rationale for Participation

Under the new normal of stringent regulation and high standards in the medical device industry, the ISO 13485 Quality Management System, GMP cleanroom production standards, and FDA biocompatibility requirements have set rigorous thresholds for injection molding equipment: zero oil contamination, micron-level repeatability, full traceability of process data, and long-term continuous production stability have become mandatory criteria. For products such as single-use blood collection containers, syringes, surgical instrument components, optical medical lenses, and IV infusion supplies, even minor dimensional deviations or secondary contamination of raw materials can directly impact the safety of clinical use.

WALMO has long specialized in the R&D and manufacturing of all-electric servo injection molding equipment, focusing on high-demand molding sectors such as medical devices, food packaging, and precision optical components. Leveraging proprietary closed-loop servo control algorithms and specialized structural optimization capabilities for cleanroom models, the company has developed molding systems tailored specifically for the medical industry. Our participation in the 2026 Medtec exhibition is not merely a product showcase. Instead, we are addressing common pain points in the medical injection molding industry—such as failure to meet cleanliness standards, low product yield, excessive energy consumption, and the inability to maintain compliant process records—by introducing a comprehensive, implementable integrated solution combining hardware and digital management. This solution helps medical manufacturers achieve domestic substitution of high-end equipment and compliance upgrades.

III. Core New Technologies, Flagship Products, and Industry Solutions Featured at This Exhibition

(I) Highlights of Core Iterative Technologies

1. Medical-Grade Sealed Clean Molding Technology

The WALMO series of medical-grade all-electric machines employs a fully water-cooled servo drive system combined with a fully enclosed, long-lasting sealed lubrication system, completely eliminating hydraulic oil circuits. This eliminates the risks of oil drips and dust accumulation at the source, making the machines directly compatible with Class 100,000 and even Class 10,000 cleanroom environments; The machines operate with low noise and minimal dust emissions, have passed CE and UL safety certifications, and fully meet the basic requirements for dust-free production of medical products.

2. ±1 bar High-Precision Closed-Loop Backpressure Stabilization Control

A proprietary closed-loop pressure regulation algorithm, combined with imported high-precision pressure sensors, stabilizes backpressure fluctuations within ±1 bar. Injection positioning repeatability accuracy reaches 0.01 mm, and weight deviation for single-cavity products is controlled within 0.01 g. This significantly improves consistency in the mass production of multi-cavity molds (such as 96-cavity syringes and 48-cavity blood collection tubes) and effectively reduces defect rates caused by material shortages, shrinkage, and dimensional deviations in thin-walled medical components.

3. MES-Integrated Digital Traceability System

The equipment is equipped with an industrial-grade real-time bus control system that can directly interface with the factory’s MES production management system. It automatically stores comprehensive process data for each mold cycle—including injection pressure, speed, holding pressure parameters, clamping force, and production time—and supports one-click export of compliant production reports. This meets the mandatory audit requirements for production process traceability under medical device regulations and resolves the issues of cumbersome process archiving and difficulties in providing evidence during audits for medical device manufacturers.

4. Ultra-High-Speed Thin-Wall Injection Molding Capability

With a maximum injection speed of up to 1,000 mm/s, this machine is suitable for the high-speed mass production of ultra-thin-wall medical consumables and highly transparent optical lenses. The shortest dry cycle time is 1.2 seconds. For large-volume orders of disposable syringes and blood collection tubes, it enhances production capacity and reduces unit production costs while ensuring quality, matching the molding efficiency of high-end imported equipment.

IV. Corporate Services and Post-Exhibition Follow-Up

In addition to the hardware equipment itself, WALMO offers prospective clients additional technical support, including one-stop services such as preliminary trial mold evaluation for medical mold forming processes, guidance on cleanroom equipment installation and layout, assistance with documenting ISO-compliant production parameters, and support with technical documentation for CE certification of overseas machine models. These services address both domestic compliance requirements and certification needs for exporting medical devices overseas.

From September 1 to 3, 2026, at Booth 3A102 in Hall N3 of the Shanghai New International Expo Center, the WALMO technical team will be on-site throughout the event to provide hands-on demonstrations of equipment, technical breakdowns, and one-on-one consultations on case studies and solutions. We welcome industry colleagues to visit us to discuss in-depth collaborations—including prototype testing, customized projects, and regional distribution—as we work together to drive high-quality upgrades in China’s precision manufacturing industry for medical devices.
