Excellent neurofeedback education – worldwide, classroom courses or online

Together with educational partners worldwide and under the brand EEG Info Europe, we offer first-class neurofeedback training exclusevly for mental health professionals with a high amount of practicum – for both: our face-to-face and online courses.

Our lecturers are exclusively professionals: Physicians, child and youth psychiatrists, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, neurobiologists and more. They are all experts in their field and neurofeedback enthusiasts. Professionals with a medical and therapeutic background with years of neurofeedback experience from their own clinical work and practice.

We also offer free webinars on a regular basis. There we give a profound overview of the development of neurofeedback and why it is such an effective approach for health, peak- and high performance training.

Study shows: ILF Neurofeedback leads to significant improvement in impulse control and attention in children with ADHD

The observational study was conducted in cooperation with the German Neurofeedback Network and a group of child and adolescent psychiatric practices in Munich. 196 ADHD patients received ILF neurofeedback.

Besides regular evaluation of the severity of clinical symptoms, a continuous performance test (CPT) for parameters of attention and impulse control was conducted before and after the neurofeedback treatment. A comparison of the test results shows that attention and impulse control improved significantly, and the patients also reported an improvement in AD(H)S symptoms.

In a post neurofeedback intervention assessment 97% of patients reported improvement in symptoms of inattention, hyperactivity or impulsivity. Only 3% of the patients claimed no noticeable alleviation of ADHD-related symptoms.

Cygnet® Virtual Reality Neurofeedback

At the beginning of the 2000s, first studies showed that the more modalities are addressed by the feedback animation, the more effective neurofeedback can be (Othmer & Kaiser, 2000).

We know that feedback animations in form of a video game lead to more effective outcomes than audio-visual content alone (Hafeez et al., 2019). Studies using virtual reality (VR) neurofeedback indicate greater learning success as well as better attention and impulsivity control than two-dimensional neurofeedback (Berger & Davelaar, 2018; Cho et al., 2004). And also relaxation can successfully trained with VR neurofeedback (Gu & Frasson, 2017). VR neurofeedback can furthermore increase patients’ motivation, interest, and also their sense of control during therapy.

Cygnet® Virtual Reality combines state-of-the-art virtual reality technology with neurofeedback. The virtual worlds simulated in this feedback animation provides an unprecedented audio-visual neurofeedback experience to the patients.
