The 8th Conference of Medical Device Design
R&D The 8th Conference of Medical Device Design September 25th, PM | Meeting Room 8 of B2, Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, Shanghai, China Co-organizers:Medtec China |
|
Background: With the continuous advancement of global medical technology, emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and robotics are profoundly transforming the design and development processes of medical devices. In this context, the integration of medicine and engineering has become the core driving force for innovation and transformation in the medical device industry. Through the deep convergence of medicine and engineering, the design and development of medical devices are constantly transcending traditional boundaries and achieving new milestones. The design of medical devices must consider human physiological, psychological, social, and cultural factors to ensure safety and prevent potential harm during use. Additionally, it is essential to evaluate machine structure, functionality, environmental conditions, and potential failures to mitigate risks and hazards.” Furthermore, medical device design should emphasize sustainability and environmental friendliness, in line with the global theme of green development. As the medical device continues to grow rapidly, manufacturers are required to pay close attention to safety, AI, and to redesign the patient experience. This conference will focus on the concepts and approaches of design related to medical device products, combined with specific case sharing to provide medical device R&D personnel with experience and insights.
